UNITE Cardio Console

Connected Fitness is a rapidly evolving model. The user journey is now driven by digital content, personalization, and real-time performance tracking, making the console the primary touchpoint between the user, the equipment, and the broader fitness ecosystem. Consisting of three unique Touchscreens and one LED console, the TRUE UNITE Console lineup represents a strategic shift from standalone equipment to a connected platform.

Overview

Led design for the TRUE Unite Console, aligning hardware and software into a cohesive connected platform. The console was designed as part of a connected fitness ecosystem, where hardware, interface, and user experience function as a unified system. Focused on integrating physical design, digital experience, and product strategy to improve usability, scalability, and long-term engagement.

Industrial Design Process

  • Elevated Concept Visualization
    Used high-fidelity rendering early to evaluate proportion, material definition, and brand expression before CAD commitment

  • Integrated Physical Prototyping Early
    Leveraged rapid prototyping to validate form, ergonomics, and spatial relationships in real-world conditions

  • Validated Ergonomics and UX in Context
    Tested viewing angles, reach, and interaction within realistic equipment setups to align physical design with user needs

  • Bridged Hardware and Digital Experience
    Aligned form, screen positioning, and interface requirements to support visibility, interaction, and real-time feedback

Explored multiple form directions to evaluate proportion, integration, and screen positioning within the overall product architecture
